When it comes to dissemination and utilization of EU project results, a wide range of different tools are available. But in many organizations there is a lack of knowledge of marketing or product placement in order to plan, implement and monitor dissemination activities. It is difficult to use the tools in the most appropriate way in order to reach the target groups and to prepare the ground for sustainability.
Within the C-E.N.T.E.R project this gap has been addressed. Different instruments will be developed and workshops delivered in order to support active dissemination of project results and to foster European exchange between project consortia, stakeholders and different funding programmes.
It is a three-year project partly funded by the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Union.
Lead partner is the network E.N.T.E.R ( the European Network for Transfer and Exploitation of EU Project Results ) from Austria. The project consists of 14 organizations from 13 different European countries. The objectives of the C‑E.N.T.E.R project are:
With active participation by 14 organisations in 13 countries, the C-E.N.T.E.R project is pan-European. The foundation for the project is provided by six conventions and exhibitions throughout Europe. The first convention was in Graz, and next it is Florence’s turn, followed by Istanbul, Varberg, Bilbao and Brussels. These events are open to any European organisation and company with an interest in the outcomes of different EU projects. Each convention focuses on a specific set of issues – in Graz it was communication. There are a number of ways to spread information about EU projects – but they are rarely effective. Project participants, businesses and other interested parties do not see the current tools and portals as user-friendly. A survey of existing portals is underway, and the findings will be presented at the Florence convention.
